Portfolio Boost 2: A Second Edition Full of Success

The second edition of Portfolio Boost once again confirmed the importance of creating concrete opportunities to support emerging talent and people looking for work in the creative industries.

In total, more than 50 participants took part in this edition, designed to help them improve their professional profiles, refine their demo reels, prepare their applications, and leave with practical tools for the next steps in their careers.

The event included 37 portfolio reviews with industry professionals, organized by RHUM HR. Participants had the opportunity to receive personalized feedback on their work, presentation, and how to better showcase their skills to studios.

In addition, 25 CV clinics were led by recruiters, helping participants improve their resumes, better structure their experience, and make their profiles clearer and more impactful.

To further support job interview preparation, mock interviews were also offered by Margot, a recruiter at Sony. This gave participants a valuable opportunity to practice in conditions close to a real interview, build confidence, and better understand recruiters’ expectations.

Between reviews and coffee breaks, participants also attended a panel with the co-founders of BROCHAFOIN. The discussion offered insights into entrepreneurship in animation, the creation of an independent studio, and the realities of stop-motion production.

Each participant also had the opportunity to leave with a professional photo, perfect for updating their LinkedIn profile and strengthening their online presence.

With this second edition, Portfolio Boost continues to fulfill its mission: offering students, young professionals, and job seekers an accessible, practical, and supportive space to improve their materials, meet industry professionals, and move forward with greater confidence.
